Wide-Rim Tubeless Platform
The 21.6mm internal rim width is matched to modern gravel tyre profiles, allowing tyres from 32mm to 42mm to sit at their optimal shape. The hooked, welded rim construction is fully tubeless-compatible and ships ready to go with Shimano's pre-installed tubeless rim tape — just add a tubeless valve and tyre.
Asymmetric Rim & Straight-Pull Spokes
Shimano borrowed the asymmetric rim profile from their mountain bike wheel range to improve spoke bracing angles and even spoke tension across the front wheel. Twenty-four straight-pull spokes connect to a lightweight aluminium hub via a reinforced flange design, delivering a build that stays true under hard cornering and rough terrain.
