Wireless Di2 Platform

As part of Shimano's wireless Di2 ecosystem, the RD-RX717-SGS pairs with compatible GRX Di2 wireless levers and is configurable via the E-TUBE Project app. The integrated BT-DN320 battery charges separately in around one hour, and is interchangeable with batteries used across other Shimano Di2 wireless derailleurs including the GRX RX827, XTR M9250, and XT M8250 — convenient if you run multiple Di2-equipped bikes.

Compatibility & Fit

The RD-RX717-SGS is a 1x12-speed Di2 rear derailleur designed for drivetrains running a 10-51T cassette, with a total capacity of 41T. It requires a compatible Shimano GRX Di2 12-speed wireless shifter and a 12-speed Shimano chain and cassette. Battery (BT-DN320) and charger (EC-DN100) are sold separately. Not compatible with mechanical or wired Di2 setups.
