Dura-Ace Di2 Wireless Shifting

The ST-R9270 introduces fully wireless Di2 communication, eliminating the need for shift cables or internal wiring through the handlebar. The result is a cleaner cockpit and faster installation. Enlarged shift buttons deliver tactile, confident actuation, and the system is compatible with Shimano's satellite shifters for TT bar or climbing extension setups. The CR1632 battery is integrated into the lever body and replaced without tools.

BR-R9270 Mono-Body Caliper

The BR-R9270 caliper is machined from a single cold-forged aluminium billet — the Mono-Body construction eliminates joints between caliper halves, dramatically increasing stiffness while reducing overall weight compared to the previous R9100 design. Resin two-piston actuation provides smooth, consistent pad advancement, and the widened pad clearance keeps rotors quiet even as frames flex under load. Shimano's mineral oil hydraulic fluid is used throughout; it is non-corrosive and does not absorb moisture the way DOT fluid does.

Compatibility & Fit

This right-lever assembly is configured for Australian riding: the right lever controls the front brake. The BR-R9270 caliper uses flat mount only; an adapter is required for post-mount frames or forks. Compatible with 140 mm and 160 mm rotors (adapter required for 140 mm flat mount). Designed for Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 and R9270 Di2 12-speed groupsets; also compatible with Ultegra R8170 Di2 12-speed systems. Hydraulic hose (SM-BH90) is included at 1000 mm for the front position. Mineral oil only — do not use DOT hydraulic fluid.
