Di2 Electronic Shifting

As part of the R9150 Dura-Ace Di2 ecosystem, the ST-R9180-R connects via SD50 wired port to the Di2 system and requires a wired connection to the BT-DN300 battery. Shifting is crisp and consistent under any load, and the Synchronized Shift function allows both levers to be customised independently — one for easier gears, one for harder — giving full drivetrain control from the aero position without reaching for the base bar.

Hydraulic Confidence

The integrated hydraulic disc brake circuit pairs with the BR-R9170 flat-mount caliper and uses Shimano mineral oil for long-term brake feel stability. The lever includes a funnel bleed port for simplified servicing, and lever reach is fully adjustable to match your fit without changing bar position.
