Purpose-Built for TT and Triathlon

Time trial and triathlon bikes demand clean cockpits and precise control. The ST-R9180-R solves the cable routing challenges common to TT setups by incorporating internal Di2 wiring and hydraulic hose management, keeping aerodynamics intact. The single control button operates in conjunction with Shimano's Synchronized Shift system — configure it to shift up or down, or to trigger multi-shift sequences tailored to your race strategy.

Di2 Electronic Shifting

As part of the R9150 Dura-Ace Di2 ecosystem, the ST-R9180-R connects via SD50 wired port to the Di2 system and requires a wired connection to the BT-DN300 battery. Shifting is crisp and consistent under any load, and the Synchronized Shift function allows both levers to be customised independently — one for easier gears, one for harder — giving full drivetrain control from the aero position without reaching for the base bar.

Hydraulic Confidence

The integrated hydraulic disc brake circuit pairs with the BR-R9170 flat-mount caliper and uses Shimano mineral oil for long-term brake feel stability. The lever includes a funnel bleed port for simplified servicing, and lever reach is fully adjustable to match your fit without changing bar position.

Compatibility & Fit

The ST-R9180-R is the right-hand lever of the Dura-Ace R9150 Di2 TT/Triathlon hydraulic pair. It is compatible with Shimano 11-speed road rear derailleurs in a Di2 Synchronized Shift configuration. The clamp fits aerobars with an inner diameter of 19.0–22.5mm. Pair with the left-hand ST-R9180-L for a complete TT lever set. Recommended hose kit: SM-BH90-JK-SS. Recommended caliper: BR-R9170. Use Shimano mineral oil only.

Shimano Dura-Ace components are covered by a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original retail purchase. Normal wear items (seals, bearings, brake pads, hoses) and damage from accidents, misuse, or improper installation are excluded. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles.
