Lever Design & Shifting

The ST-R9120 lever body is constructed from CFRP composite with carbon fibre lever blades, keeping weight low while improving stiffness and feel. The redesigned hood profile is slimmer and more ergonomic than the previous generation, with a textured rubber surface for secure grip in all conditions.

Hydraulic Brake Performance

The BR-R9170 front caliper uses a two-piston hydraulic system with mineral oil to deliver powerful, progressive braking force with excellent modulation.
