The FC-M8130-1 is purpose-built for 157mm Super Boost+ rear hub spacing, the standard adopted by modern short-chainstay trail and enduro frames. The 56.5mm chain line keeps the drivetrain running straight and quiet across all 12 sprockets. If your frame uses standard 148mm Boost spacing, the FC-M8100-1 (52mm chain line) or FC-M8120-1 (54.5mm chain line) are the correct choices — check your frame spec before ordering.
