Construction

The WH-MT601's aluminium rim is tubeless-ready out of the box, accepting standard tubeless valves and sealant for a true tubeless setup. The double-butted, J-bend spokes are laced in a 24-hole pattern to provide a balance of light weight and durability. Shimano's Centrelock hub uses a familiar threaded lock ring — the same tool as a cassette lockring — making rotor swaps fast and straightforward.
