Design & Technology

The ST-U6030 lever inherits research from Shimano's 105 development program, resulting in an improved lever position and a more ergonomic bracket shape across different hand geometries. The hydraulic actuation uses Shimano Mineral Oil for reliable, fade-resistant braking performance. The BR-U6030 caliper's slim 2-piston design keeps weight down while providing ample modulation for road and gravel riding.

This set is the right lever / front brake configuration. Compatible with Shimano 10-speed and 11-speed drop-bar drivetrains (2x front derailleur). Lever clamp diameter: 23.8–24.2mm (standard drop-bar). Brake caliper: flat mount, designed for 160mm rotors (rotor sold separately). Hydraulic fluid: Shimano Mineral Oil.
