LinkGlide is Shimano's durability-focused drivetrain platform. The tooth and gate design is engineered to withstand the sustained, high chain tension that e-bike motors generate, giving up to three times the wear life of HyperGlide before sprockets need replacing.

Compatibility & fit

This is a 10-speed LinkGlide cassette with an 11-39T range (cogs: 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-34-39T). It mounts to a standard Shimano HG freehub body (HG spline type M, which also carries 9/8-speed and MTB 11-speed cassettes). It must be paired with a LinkGlide shifting system and a LinkGlide or HG 11-speed chain — it is not interchangeable with HyperGlide-only 10-speed shifters. Shimano designates this cassette for e-bike use.
