Construction

The lever blade is aluminium with a painted finish. The bracket is engineering composite for a lightweight, comfortable hold, while the clamp band is steel for secure, durable handlebar attachment. The 23.8–24.2 mm clamp diameter fits standard drop bar hoods.

Hydraulic System

Uses Shimano mineral oil with funnel bleeding for easy home servicing. The lever ships ready to accept the SM-BH59-JK-SSR brake hose kit (straight hose joint). Compatible calipers include the BR-U6030 (CUES flat mount) and BR-RS405.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for drop handlebar use with a 23.8–24.2 mm clamp band. This is a brake-only lever — no integrated shifter — intended for use alongside the CUES ST-U6030 rear dual-control lever in a 1x drivetrain setup, or as a standalone front/rear brake lever on single-speed and fixed-gear road builds. Compatible brake calipers: BR-U6030, BR-RS405. Hydraulic fluid: Shimano Mineral Oil. Hose kit: SM-BH59-JK-SSR (sold separately).
