The Shimano CN-HG71 is a HYPERGLIDE (HG) chain built for 6, 7 and 8-speed drivetrains, with heat-treated steel links and chromized pins for durable, corrosion-resistant performance and crisp index shifting. This 138-link version provides the extra length needed for larger setups such as e-bikes, cargo and step-through frames where a standard 116-link chain falls short.
