Design & Construction
The ST-R7120 uses a composite lever body paired with an aluminium brake blade — a construction that keeps weight competitive while maintaining the stiffness needed for confident braking. The closed-clamp mount secures cleanly to standard road drop bars. An Optislick inner cable with minimal galvanic coating is included, reducing shift friction and improving long-term cable life without specialist housing upgrades.
Compatibility & Fit
Designed for 2x12-speed Shimano 105 R7100 groupsets. Works with Shimano hydraulic disc brake calipers (flat mount recommended with 105 R7100 series). Clamp diameter: 23.8–24.2 mm (standard road drop bar). This is the right-hand lever — controls the rear derailleur (12-speed) and integrates the hydraulic brake line. Pairs with the ST-R7120-L left lever for a complete STI set.
