Sport Series: proven Scope technology

Scope's Sport Series carries over proven technology from its previous generation of carbon wheels. Like the Race Series, the wheels are hand-built to the same quality standards and developed in the Netherlands for a balance of aerodynamics, stiffness and durability. Local Reinforcement adds carbon layers only around the spoke holes to save weight while keeping strength and stiffness, and the Scope Tubeless System is designed for easy mounting, direct inflation and long-lasting pressure.

Hubs and spokes

Scope S-Series hubs use a 3-pawl engagement system and custom bearings. Wheels are laced with Sapim CX-Leader spokes, 21 front / 24 rear.

Compatibility & fit

Disc brake version with Centerlock rotor mounts and 12 x 100mm front / 12 x 142mm rear thru-axles; Scope offers special end caps for other axle configurations. Choose a Shimano HG freehub body for Shimano road cassettes or SRAM XDR for SRAM XDR cassettes. Scope recommends 28-32mm road tyres or 35-57mm gravel tyres, with an optimum of 30mm; the rims also run clincher tyres with inner tubes. Wheel fitting, tyre installation and set-up are separate Tune Cycles workshop services and are not included.
