Hellion Elite is Ride Concepts' no-compromise, highly technical shoe for all-mountain, enduro and gravity riding, made for enduro and DH racers and bike park regulars alike. The women's Hellion Elite Clip BOA pairs a clip-pedal sole with ClipGrip rubber, a 40 mm long cleat box and an RC PowerDrive nylon shank with two Li2 dials on a PerformFit Wrap from the BOA Fit System.

• Custom moulded KPU Rampart protects the dials from impacts
• ClipGrip rubber outsole tuned for clean clip-in and clip-out, with traction for hiking
• 40 mm long cleat box with index markings and an extended cleat pocket runway
• RC PowerDrive nylon shank drives power and keeps lateral stiffness
• Asymmetrical collar, stiff midsole and heel counter for protection, power and stability

Made for gravity riding

Hellion Elite is built for riders who want a highly technical shoe with no compromises. The asymmetrical collar, stiff midsole and heel counter deliver protection, power and stability. The Cordura upper is built for durability and abrasion resistance, backed by a TPU mud guard against dirt, debris and rubbing. The EVA midsole adds support and shock absorption, the D3O High Impact Zone insole absorbs impact to reduce fatigue, and an anti-bacterial mesh lining helps control odour.

Dual-dial fit

Two Li2 dials run the PerformFit Wrap from the BOA Fit System, adjusting in both directions with low-friction textile laces, so you can set a precise, locked-in fit and change it on the fly. A custom moulded KPU Rampart shields the dials from impacts, and integrated D3O pads protect the top of your foot.

Built for clip pedals

ClipGrip is the rubber Ride Concepts uses on its clip shoes, tuned so nothing gets in the way when you clip in and out, while staying supportive and grippy when you're hiking. The 40 mm long cleat box has index markings and an extended cleat pocket runway, so you can set your cleat position precisely and repeat it, and the RC PowerDrive nylon shank keeps the platform laterally stiff to drive power. A reverse hex relief at the toe and heel gives you traction on hike-a-bike climbs and descents.

Compatibility & fit

Made for clip pedals. Ride Concepts designs the cleat box on its clip shoes to work with mountain bike clip pedals.

Sizes are US women's. Ride Concepts develops its women's shoes with their own construction, tuning padding, volume, heel cups and toe boxes, and builds its range around US sizing. It says its shoes run true to size for an athletic fit: order the same US size as your usual athletic shoes, and if you're between two sizes, go up to the larger one. The EU, UK and centimetre equivalents in the table below come from Ride Concepts' shoe size chart.

The fully gusseted tongue keeps the fit snug and stops the tongue shifting.
