The Hellion is Ride Concepts' trail and all-mountain flat pedal shoe: a light, breathable Cordura mesh upper over a stable moulded EVA midsole, with MaxGrip rubber underfoot for a planted feel on the pedals. A traditional lace closure gives a secure, tailored fit.

Grip on flat pedals
Ride Concepts' hexagon-pattern outsoles use deep lugs so pedal pins can bite, and MaxGrip is the brand's softest, tackiest compound, chosen for pedal contact and feel while still wearing well. A reverse hex relief at the toe and heel gives you traction off the bike, whether you're pushing up a climb or walking down something steep.
Comfort and protection
The moulded EVA midsole gives a stable, efficient pedalling platform with support and shock absorption, and the D3O High Impact Zone insole soaks up hits to reduce fatigue. A TPU mud guard shields against dirt, debris and rubbing, the asymmetrical collar adds protection on the inside of the ankle, and an anti-bacterial mesh lining helps control odour.
Compatibility & fit
Designed for flat pedals.
Sizes are US women's. Ride Concepts develops its women's shoes with their own construction, tuning padding, volume, heel cups and toe boxes, and builds its range around US sizing. It says its shoes run true to size for an athletic fit: order the same US size as your usual athletic shoes, and if you're between two sizes, go up to the larger one. The fully gusseted tongue keeps the fit snug and stops the tongue shifting. A traditional lace closure gives a secure, tailored fit, and an elastic lace tuck keeps the laces out of the way of the drivetrain.
