New chassis, new damping, same name. For 2026 the Float X2 moves to a monotube design for more durability while keeping its four-way adjustability, making it Fox's definitive gravity air shock for downhill and enduro racing.

World's first 4-way monotube

High- and low-speed compression and rebound now live in a simpler, more durable monotube body, with pressure balancing for extra sensitivity and support. An oversized air chamber and reduced-friction air seals give a more linear, planted ride, and a larger ½in damper shaft adds strength. Air volume tunes in 1cc steps for precise spring rate changes.

Performance Elite

Performance Elite has the same adjustments, damper and weight as the Factory shock, with a black anodised finish and a 7000-series aluminium shaft in place of Kashima. Every size here comes with the 2-position firm lever.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies, and check whether your frame takes a standard eye or a trunnion mount. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts.
