Why XD-15 in a headset

Enduro says these XD-15 bearings match the corrosion resistance of its XD-15 ceramic-hybrid hub and bottom bracket bearings, while stainless steel balls stand up better to the impacts a headset sees than ceramic balls. Its testing has run XD-15 bearings in salt water for months without corrosion.

Built to last

Enduro engineers its angular contact headset bearings around the largest balls that will fit, so every ball is evenly engaged and the load is spread over a larger area to reduce wear. Dual-lip seals ride in a micro-groove to form a labyrinth, backed by a 90% fill of waterproof grease.

Compatibility & fit

Replaces internal angular contact headset bearings of 40mm ID x 52mm OD x 6.5mm width with a 36/45° contact angle in 1-1/2" headsets. Enduro lists it as also replacing 51.8mm and 51.9mm OD bearings, and as known by the part numbers HD 1404K, BAA0006K, MR-127, MR-196, MH-P25K, BAA1132 and MR019. Match your old bearing before ordering. Our workshop can press in a new headset bearing for you. Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price.
