We've been asked by 100s of our customers for this upgrade!  What this enables you to do is take your typical off-the-shelf road bike and upgrade to larger chainrings.  This is ideal for A-Grade sprinters looking for that little bit extra in the bunch kick or those who prefer to keep to the flats and avoid the mountains.

Whats it does:

• Gives more top speed potential to the bike
• Increases your roll-out distance so you have more top speed potential.  3.8% further than 52-36 and a massive 8.0% further than 50-34
• Makes the 1st gear higher, this will increase speed when climbing but also load on the body 
• Replaces the existing chain which is likely to be too short with the new chainrings installed

• Dura-Ace FC-R9200 40T Chainring

Whats Recommended:

• Dura-Ace CN-M9100 12-Speed Chain

With larger chainrings installed its highly likely your bike will need a longer chain.

Optional:

If you're currently riding with an 11-30 Cassette you can use the 11-34 cassette to spread the range out and keep your climbing ratios.
