The EX481 front rim is a lightweight welded all-mountain hoop engineered for modern wide tyres. The EX511 rear rim steps up the burl factor — it's the same platform that has delivered EWS stage wins, with a 30mm inner width profile that handles 2.2"–2.6" rubber with confidence. Pro Lock nipples inject a thread-locking compound during build, so the wheel stays true through hard riding without constant tweaking.

The Shimano XT M8110 hub shell is designed around Boost spacing for improved bracing angles and a stiffer, more efficient wheel. The Microspline freehub is required for Shimano 12-speed (M8100-series) cassettes. Centre Lock disc interface is shared front and rear for streamlined rotor setup.
