A taller alternative to Cane Creek's standard 52/40 crown race, this rise crown race adds extra clearance between the fork crown and a 1.5in head tube on frames with 36/45 degree lower headset bearings – handy when a fork crown would otherwise foul the head tube or lower cup.

Fit

Fits a 1.5in (40mm) tapered steerer and a 52mm lower headset bearing seat, on 36/45 degree lower bearings only. Compatible across Cane Creek's 10-, 40- and 110-Series headsets, and backwards compatible with S- and XX-Series. Press onto the fork crown with a Cane Creek crown race installation tool.

Compatibility & fit

Fits 1.5in (40mm) tapered steerers and 52mm lower headset bearing seats on 36/45 degree lower bearings only – confirm your frame or fork's lower bearing angle before ordering. The Tune workshop can check headset fit and press a new crown race as part of a headset service.

Cane Creek covers crown races and small headset spare parts under its Small Parts & Other warranty, for 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear and tear and incorrect installation aren't included. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Cane Creek's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase.
