The rigid caliper and SERVOWAVE lever pairing gives predictable stopping force without a vague initial stroke, while the insulated pad and piston help keep performance steady as the brake heats up on longer descents.
Compatibility and fit
Supplied as a rear brake with a left-hand lever, without a mount adapter, so you will need the correct adapter for your frame's mount and rotor size. Uses Shimano mineral oil only; do not use DOT fluid. Rotor and adapter are purchased separately. If you are unsure which adapter or rotor size you need, ask us before you order.
Shimano covers this brake under its standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear is excluded, which on a hydraulic brake includes brake pads, hoses and seals, along with damage from crash, incorrect bleeding or the use of the wrong fluid.
Warranty claims and returns go through Tune Cycles. Contact us with your order number and we will assess the brake and handle the claim with the distributor on your behalf.
