Easy setup and servicing

A one-way bleed feature and a "nose cone" style hose fitting at the caliper streamline installation and bleeding, so the system is quicker to set up and keep in top condition.

Pads and cooling

The caliper ships with L02A resin pads fitted with cooling fins, which run quietly and help manage heat for steady braking on long descents.

Compatibility & fit

This is the front caliper for a flat-mount frame or fork. It is a flat-mount fitting, uses Shimano mineral oil, and works with 140 mm or 160 mm rotors via the supplied mounting plate. It must be paired with a compatible Shimano road hydraulic brake lever. Note the Australian convention: the right-hand lever operates the front brake (shifting is separate and unaffected). Rotor lockring style (6-bolt or Center Lock) is determined by your chosen rotor, not the caliper.
