Compatibility & fit

This is a rear-specific caliper that mounts to standard V-brake bosses (brazed-on posts). It is a direct-pull (linear-pull) rim brake and must be paired with long-pull / V-brake-compatible levers, not road caliper levers. It uses the X-type spacer arrangement (thin spacer outside). Under the Australian convention the left lever operates the rear brake, so this caliper typically pairs with the left-hand lever.
