Horizontal or vertical: match your frame

PowerTube batteries are built for either horizontal or vertical installation, depending on how the frame maker mounted the battery in the down tube. The two versions are not interchangeable, so order the orientation your bike already uses. Your current battery's label or part number is the easiest way to check.

Compatibility & fit

For Bosch eBike System 2 bikes designed for a PowerTube 625. A PowerTube 625 is longer than a PowerTube 400 or 500, so it only fits frames built for it. It does not suit the Bosch Smart System. Charge it with a Bosch System 2 charger. Our workshop can confirm the right battery for your bike and set up the mount if needed.

This genuine Bosch eBike Systems part is covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
