Check your bottom bracket first

5DEV designed this ring around its own titanium T47 bottom bracket and has found fit issues with certain frames and bottom brackets. If your BB cups or T47 shell are more than 51 mm in diameter, the ring isn't compatible with your setup. We can check yours before you order.

Chain choice

5DEV lists the ring for SRAM Transmission, XPLR, AXS and Eagle chains, and says it may not work with certain Shimano chains. If you run a Shimano chain, ask us before ordering.

Fitting

Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. On most cranks a direct mount ring swap means taking the drive-side arm off. The Tune workshop can fit the ring with the right tools, torque the eight bolts to 5DEV's spec (4 Nm in a star pattern) and check chainline and frame clearance.

5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, covering defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV finds a failure was caused by such a defect, it replaces the affected product with a comparable model. The warranty is void if a part from another manufacturer or retailer is used in place of the 5DEV component, so talk to us before replacing anything.

This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with 5DEV's Australian distributor.
