Built for time trials, triathlon and fast road racing, the SPEEDPLAY AERO swaps the second entry side for a dimpled aerodynamic underside that blends into the cleat to cut drag at the pedal.

Aero first
The AERO is based on the ZERO, but the underside of the body is shaped and dimpled rather than being a second clip-in side. The trade-off is single-sided entry. Reviewers note the pedal hangs the right way up, so it flips into position with a tap of the toe.
The SPEEDPLAY fit
Cleats adjust fore-aft (up to 13 mm), side to side and for float (0° to 15°), each independently, with a low 11.5 mm stack height on 3-hole shoes. Cornering clearance is 37°, slightly less than the dual-sided models' 39°.
Compatibility & fit
Fits standard 3-hole road shoes. Speedplay-specific 4-hole shoes need Wahoo's 4-hole adaptor plate, sold separately. Wahoo SPEEDPLAY Standard Tension and Easy Tension Walkable Cleats both fit every current Wahoo SPEEDPLAY pedal, so you can swap tension without changing pedals. The AERO comes in the standard 53mm spindle only. Designed for road and indoor trainer use only. Dirt and grit in the cleat affect engagement, so keep cleats clean and lubricate the springs with a PTFE dry lube.
In the box: left and right pedals, Standard Tension cleat assembly (with walkable covers), screw packet, quick start guide. Installation needs a #2 Phillips screwdriver and an 8mm hex key.

Wahoo warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase, for the original purchaser under normal use. Warranty claims are handled in the country of purchase. This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Wahoo SPEEDPLAY pedals are sealed and not user-serviceable: taking the pedal apart voids the warranty. Cleats are wear items and are not covered for normal wear.
For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Wahoo's Australian distributor.
