Why butyl

Vittoria describes butyl as the reliable everyday choice: high air retention, easy mounting and dependable puncture resistance. It's heavier than TPU or latex but far more forgiving to fit and store.

Choosing a valve length

Pick the valve that clears your rim with enough thread showing for the pump head. The 48 mm valve suits low and mid-profile rims; the 60 mm valve suits deeper rims.

Compatibility & fit

Fits 700c (622) road wheels with tyres from 20 to 28 mm wide. Presta valve, so the rim needs a Presta-sized valve hole. Check your rim depth before choosing a valve length. Tube and tyre fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price; the Tune Cycles workshop can fit it for you.

Vittoria covers these inner tubes against defects in materials and workmanship. Punctures, pinch flats and valve damage from use are not manufacturing defects. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law also apply. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Vittoria's Australian distributor.
