The pedal-assist sensor tells a hub-drive motor when you're pedalling. If the motor cuts in late, cuts out or won't assist at all, the sensor is one of the first things to check, and this 24-magnet unit is VelectriX's replacement for its hub-drive models from MY21 on.

Fitting

Fitting it means taking a crank off, so it's best done in the workshop. Tune Cycles can fit it and check the assist works through every level.

Fit and compatibility

VelectriX lists it for most hub-drive models from MY21 on, but doesn't say which are excluded. Compare it with your current sensor (24 magnets, mounted at the bottom bracket) or send us your model and year before ordering. It isn't listed for mid-drive models.
