TOKEN's 878 is a precision external bottom bracket for BSA frames and Shimano 24 mm cranks, made for riders who ride hard in bad weather and want parts as tough as they are.

Built for long bearing life
The bearings rest directly on the crank axle for a straight load path, which lengthens bearing life and allows tighter tolerances for smoother, lower-friction running. Oversized bearings packed in waterproof grease and multi-lip X-Seals make it tough enough for mountain bikes.
Bearing choice
TBT bearings use ceramic balls and very hard races for very low rolling resistance and long-lasting performance. Premium bearings are TOKEN's high carbon steel bearings.

Compatibility & fit
Frame: BSA threaded. Crankset: Shimano 24 mm spindle.
TOKEN notes SRAM GXP cranks can be run with additional adaptors, sold separately.
Cups: 16-notch bearing cups, 44 mm outside diameter; torque wrench compatible with a 3/8" drive.
Installation: it is also compatible with Park Tool BBT-9, BBT-19.2, BBT-69 / BBT-69.2.
Listed weights exclude spacers.
Bottom bracket installation is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. Our workshop can fit it with the correct tooling and check the shell before it goes in.
TOKEN warrants this product against defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the original date of purchase, for the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Normal wear and tear, bearings (unless unused), and damage from incorrect installation, modification, neglect or improper maintenance are not covered; TOKEN repairs or replaces a defective product at its discretion. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with TOKEN's Australian distributor.
