A pair of strapless VP half clips for MTB-style pedals. Half clips are toe clips without straps. They stop your foot sliding forward and keep it in position, but you can pull your foot out easily in any direction.

• Strapless half clips
• MTB style
• Sold as a pair

That makes them a good fit for commuting and stop-start riding in ordinary shoes, where you want a bit more control than a plain flat pedal without being held in.

Half clips bolt to the front of the pedal cage, so your pedals need mounting holes for toe clips.

If you're new to them, practise on a quiet street: flip the pedal with your toe, slide your foot in, and pull it straight back to get out. It only takes a few rides to get used to them.
