SUNringlé MTX 39 DT Swiss 370 DJ hand-built dirt jump wheelset

A tough 26in dirt jump and pump track wheelset: wide, welded SUNringlé MTX 39 rims laced 32-spoke to DT Swiss's dirt-jump-specific 370 DJ hubs, built by hand in our Marrickville workshop. Bolt-on axles front and rear, and a singlespeed rear hub that comes with its sprocket.

Before you order: what your bike decides

  • Wheel size: 26in.
  • Fork: 20 x 110 mm bolt-on (non-Boost). For a 15 x 100 mm fork, add DT's 15/100 adapter kit for the 370 DJ front.
  • Frame: 135 mm rear with 10 mm bolt-on dropouts.
  • Brakes: DT makes the 370 DJ front hub without a disc mount, the dirt jump norm of a brakeless front. The rear hub takes a 6-bolt rotor.
  • Drivetrain: singlespeed only. DT supplies the rear hub with a 12-tooth sprocket on its singlespeed freehub body.

Options: none to pick on the card. Each DT hub comes in one set-up, so the kit is built as listed.

Everything in the Wheelset box is built in. If you want us to lace a rim or hub you already own, that is a workshop job: contact us for a quote.

Why the 370 DJ

DT built the 370 DJ hubs for dirt jump: bolt-on axles that stay put through tricks and hard landings, and its Ratchet LN 36 freehub system (36 engagement points) in place of pawls for a reliable, low-maintenance drive.

How we build it

Every wheel is laced by hand in Marrickville with DT Swiss Competition double-butted spokes (2.0/1.8/2.0 mm) and DT brass nipples, brought up to even tension, stress-relieved and trued, then checked again before it is packed. Each wheelset is built to order. Our Pro wheel build and tape are added to your cart automatically as two free lines. The build carries our workmanship guarantee; each maker's warranty on its parts is on the Warranty tab.

Sold separately (shown with this kit): the DT 15/100 front adapter kit, a 160 mm 6-bolt rear rotor, tyres and tubes or tubeless set-up to suit.

DT Swiss hubs are covered for 24 months from purchase against material and manufacturing defects (dtswiss.com/en/support/warranty). SUNringlé rims carry SUNringlé's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Our build (lacing, tension and truing) carries our workmanship guarantee. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles: bring the wheel to Marrickville or contact us with your order number and we handle it with the brand. Wear, crash damage, corrosion and incorrect fitting are not covered.
