Effortless braking

SRAM's HRD (Hydraulic Road Disc) system uses DOT fluid and a 2-piston flat mount caliper with steel-backed organic pads for crisp, controlled stopping power. The redesigned, higher lever pivot reduces the effort needed to brake from the hoods, so slowing down stays easy whether you are on the tops, hoods or in the drops.

Wireless AXS shifting

The integrated shifter runs SRAM's wireless eTap AXS electronic shift logic, so there are no shift cables to route. Each control communicates wirelessly with your derailleurs, and the AXS smartphone app lets you personalise button behaviour and check firmware. A CR2032 coin cell powers the shifter.

Fit and compatibility

Designed for 12-speed SRAM eTap AXS road and gravel drivetrains and flat mount disc frames and forks (20mm caliper offset). This unit is the rear side with a longer 2000mm hose; pair it with the matching front unit for a full setup. Disc rotor is not included. Note for Australian setups: the left-hand lever conventionally operates the rear brake.
