Serious power, sorted
The Maven Base runs a stiff four-piston caliper with four 18mm pistons, delivering a huge jump in braking force over previous SRAM stoppers. Organic brake pads give strong initial bite and quiet operation, while the large piston area helps manage heat on sustained descents.
A lever that works with you
The DirectLink lever translates your input into smooth, controllable power, and tool-free reach adjust lets you set the blade exactly where you want it. The MatchMaker X (MMX) clamp lets you mount a SRAM shifter or dropper remote alongside the brake for an uncluttered bar.
Easy to live with
SRAM's Bleeding Edge port makes bleeds clean and fuss-free. The Maven system is designed for use with Maxima Mineral Brake Oil only.
Compatibility and fit
This is the front brake with a 950mm hose. The caliper uses a Post Mount 74mm interface. Rotors and mount adapters are sold separately, so choose your rotor size and matching adapter to suit your fork. In the Australian setup, the right-hand lever operates the front brake.
SRAM warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. The warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable, and proof of purchase is required.
This warranty does not cover damage from normal wear (including brake pads), improper installation, accidents, or modification. For any warranty support or claim, please return the item to Tune Cycles and we will manage the process on your behalf.
