The PowerLock connects the two ends of an Eagle chain by hand: locate the link, then load the pedals or pull the chain to snap it home. No press or rivet pin is needed for installation, which makes chain fitting and replacement faster on the workshop bench or trailside.

Single-use by design
SRAM specifies the Eagle PowerLock as single-use. Removal requires master-link (chain) pliers, and a new PowerLock should be fitted every time the chain is installed to maintain a secure, reliable connection.
