Tread and compound
Vee built the Speed Booster for BMX racers who want low weight and better cornering stability. The low-profile tread cuts drag to save time in race conditions, and it's paired with Vee's LSG+ compound.
Puncture protection
Vee's B-Proof aramid belt adds puncture protection without the weight: a paper-thin layer that adds a lot of strength.
Compatibility & fit
Size 20 x 1-3/8 in, 451 mm bead seat. In Vee's range, the 20 x 1-1/8 and 20 x 1-3/8 in sizes use a 451 mm bead seat and the decimal 20 in sizes (such as 20 x 1.60) use 406 mm, so check your rim before you order. Vee lists it as a tube-type tyre (not tubeless ready), maximum 100 psi. Fitting and puncture repair are workshop services and aren't included in the price. Our workshop can fit your new tyres and check the tubes and rim tape while the wheels are out.
Vee Tire Co. covers its tyres for 1 year from the original purchase date or 2 years from the production date, whichever comes first. The warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, incorrect mounting or maintenance, damage caused by a bicycle malfunction, or misuse or modification of the tyre. This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Vee Tire's Australian distributor.
