Spank's Oozy Trail 395+ is an ultra-wide 35 mm alloy trail rim for riders on 2.3 to 3.0 inch tyres: a broad, stable tyre profile for trail, all-mountain and e-bike riding, rated ASTM 5.
- 35 mm internal width: supports a 2.3-2.6" trail tyre or a Plus tyre up to 3.0", for grip and a stable sidewall at lower pressure
- OohBah inverted inner wall: a corrugated centre stiffens the wide profile without adding material
- Bead Bite anti-burp hooks: rows of tiny ridges on the bead seats hold a tubeless tyre in place
- ASTM 5, e-bike listed by Spank; 120 kg system weight (rider, bike and gear)
Building with it
Lace it with butted spokes, 3-cross, with a washer under every nipple: Spank's Australian distributor requires washers on this rim. Use our Spank 65-washer pack. Spank's general tension target is 110-120 kgf. Spank publishes ERD without nipple heads, so add twice your nipple's head height.
In the box
One rim with a protective rim strip that comes off before building (it is not tubeless tape). No nipples, washers, tape or valve. Want it built? It is the rim in our hand-built Spank Oozy Trail 395+ wheelsets, laced, tensioned and trued in Marrickville.
Fit
27.5" wheels, 32 spoke holes, disc brake only. Tubeless-ready with 30 mm tape and a Presta valve.
Spank warrants its rims against defects in materials and workmanship when bought from an authorised seller. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles: bring the rim to Marrickville or contact us with your order number and we handle it with Link Sports, Spank's Australian distributor. Wear, crash damage, incorrect building and commercial use are not covered.
