XTR Di2 Technology

The M9050 Di2 system was a landmark release for mountain biking — bringing the reliability and speed of electronic shifting from the road to the trail. The derailleur connects to the Di2 system via a single SD50 port, integrating with Shimano's E-Tube network for firmware updates, customisation, and synchronised control. Riders can adjust shift timing, clutch engagement, and Synchronized Shift behaviour via the E-Tube app.

Compatibility & Fit

This derailleur is designed for Shimano XTR M9050 Di2 11-speed drivetrains. It is compatible with direct mount (Shadow Direct Mount) dropouts as well as standard B-axle hangers via the included adapter. Maximum low sprocket: 46T (1×11-speed), 42T (2×11-speed), 40T (3×11-speed). Top sprocket: 11T. Total capacity: 35T. Maximum front chainring difference: 10T. Pairs with XTR Di2 shifters (ST-M9050 or SW-M9050 satellite switches) and requires an E-Tube junction unit for Synchronized Shift functionality (SC-M9051 or SC-MT800 display). Not compatible with mechanical cable-pull shifters.
