Technology

XTR Di2 uses Shimano's wireless protocol alongside Bluetooth LE and ANT+ connectivity, letting you check battery level, customise shift modes, and update firmware via the E-TUBE PROJECT app. The programmable third button on the SW-M9250 shifter can be mapped to a dropper post, shift-mode changes, or other E-TUBE functions. Two-step double-shift and hold-down multi-shift are supported out of the box.

Long cage (SGS) supports a maximum low sprocket of 51T and maximum total capacity of 41T. Requires an I-SPEC EV compatible brake lever for the included shifter. Shadow ES clutch mechanism included. Mounts via standard direct-mount derailleur hanger.
