Di2 Satellite Switch Technology

The SW-R610 operates as a satellite switch within the Shimano Di2 ecosystem. Rather than replacing your main STI levers, it adds a secondary shift point in the drops. The EW-SD50 connector attaches to the dedicated satellite port found on 11-speed Di2 road levers, enabling the E-TUBE system to register shift commands from both the primary levers and the sprint switches simultaneously. Each switch has a single button — one per function — keeping operation simple and reliable under race conditions.

Compatibility & Fit

The SW-R610 requires a dedicated satellite/sprint switch port, which is present only on the following 11-speed Di2 STI levers: ST-6870 (Ultegra Di2), ST-9070 (Dura-Ace Di2), ST-R8050 (Ultegra R8050 Di2), and ST-R9150 (Dura-Ace R9150 Di2). Not compatible with ST-R9170, ST-R8070, ST-7970, or ST-6770. Connects via EW-SD50 wire. Sold as a pair (left + right).
