Effortless control
The Rapidfire Plus mechanism gives a positive, defined click for every shift, while 2-Way Release lets you choose between pushing the release lever with your thumb or pulling it with your index finger to suit your riding position. Instant Release responds the moment you move the lever, so changes feel sharp and direct.
Built to last
An aluminium body keeps the shifter rigid and durable, and the main lever is made from carbon to trim weight. Supplied stainless steel inner cables and housing feature Shimano's wear-reducing SIL-TEC coating for smooth, long-lasting actuation.
Compatibility & fit
This is the left lever, which operates the front derailleur in a 2x setup; pair it with the matching SL-RS700 right lever for full 2x11 shifting. It is designed for Shimano 2x11-speed flat bar road drivetrains and works with Dura-Ace, Ultegra and 105 11-speed components. The clamp-band mount fits standard 22.2 mm handlebars, with a maximum grip outer diameter of 32 mm. Confirm your derailleur and cassette are 11-speed Shimano road before fitting.
