The Shimano Tourney SL-RV400 Revoshift set brings simple, reliable twist shifting to commuters, kids' bikes and entry-level mountain and hybrid bikes. You change gears with a light flick of thumb and finger while keeping both hands on the bar, and the optical gear display on each shifter shows exactly which gear you're in.

Easy twist shifting
Revoshift is built around the twist of the grip collar. A quick rotation steps you through the gears, so beginners and casual riders can shift confidently without learning lever patterns. The 7-speed right shifter uses Shimano's SIS Index system for a defined click into each gear, while the 3-speed left shifter is friction-style for the front mech.
Know your gear at a glance
Each shifter has an Optical Gear Display window with a clear numeral, so you can see how many gears you have left on the low and top side. It's a genuine confidence boost for newer riders and a handy reference for everyone else.
Compatibility & fit
This is a 3x7 set: a 7-speed Shimano SIS indexed rear shifter (SL-RV400-7R) paired with a 3-speed friction front shifter, both REVOSHIFT twist type. They clamp to standard 22.2 mm handlebar grip sections. The 7-speed right shifter is designed for Shimano 7-speed mountain/index rear drivetrains. Inner shift cables are supplied; outer cable housing is sold separately. Note the Australian brake convention is separate to shifting (left lever rear brake, right lever front brake) and does not affect shifter fitment.
