Platform & Construction

The PD-M821 body is forged and machined aluminium alloy, shaped with a tapered profile that's thicker at the axle (18.5mm) and tapers toward the edges (12mm at leading and trailing edges) to shed mud and avoid pedal strikes. The fixed clip-in mechanism prioritises simplicity and durability over grams — there are no spring-loaded pop-up parts to service or replace. Replacement pin sets (short and long) are available separately if pins wear or are lost.

Compatibility & Fit

The PD-M821 uses the standard Shimano SPD two-bolt interface and includes SM-SH51 single-release cleats with a 4° float. Compatible with any two-bolt SPD shoe — particularly well matched to Shimano AM-series downhill and enduro shoes for maximum platform coverage. Spindle installs with an 8mm hex key (no pedal wrench required). Sold as a pair.
