The Shimano RX-Clip turns your Aerolite sport sunglasses into a prescription-ready frame, so riders who wear glasses can keep their proper sport eyewear instead of squinting through everyday spectacles on the bike. The clip sits behind the lens and holds your own prescription lenses, fitted by your optometrist.

How it works

The RX-Clip mounts inside your Aerolite frame and carries a pair of prescription lenses. Take the clip to your optometrist, have them cut and fit lenses to your script, then clip it into your Aerolite glasses. You ride in your normal Shimano sport eyewear with full prescription correction behind the main lens. A clear dummy lens is fitted on arrival as a placeholder until your prescription lenses are made up.

Fit and frame

Made from lightweight, strong and durable Grilamid TR-90, the clip weighs around 5 g and is CNC-moulded for accuracy. It is designed specifically for the Shimano Aerolite CE-ARLT2 frame and is not compatible with other Shimano eyewear models.
