It is designed for the Shimano Nexus Inter-5E (SG-C7000) 5-speed internally geared hub and works with the CJ-C7000-5 cassette joint / shifting unit. Shift cable and housing are supplied. It is not compatible with derailleur drivetrains or with Nexus hubs of a different speed count.
