The Shimano SW-R9150 is a remote satellite climbing shifter from the Dura-Ace Di2 R9150 series, designed to let you shift gears without reaching for the brake lever hoods. Mount it anywhere on your handlebars — top of the bar, drops, or stem — so you can keep climbing in your most efficient position while staying in full control of your gearing.

E-TUBE Customisation

Using the Shimano E-TUBE Project app, you can programme each switch button individually. Assign upshift, downshift, or any other Di2 system function to each button so the switcher works exactly the way you want it to. This makes it equally useful for time trialists, gravel riders, and road climbers who need shifting access in non-standard positions.

What's in the Box

The SW-R9150 is sold as a pair (left and right switch units), each with a 261mm EW-SD50 electric wire pre-attached. Additional EW-SD50 extension wires may be required depending on your handlebar setup and junction point placement.

Compatibility & Fit

Compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9150 and Ultegra Di2 R8050 11-speed groupsets. Also compatible with hydraulic Di2 levers ST-R9170 and ST-R8070, and Shimano GRX Di2. For 12-speed Di2 compatibility, update the switch firmware to version 3.3.0 or newer using SM-PCE02, SM-PCE1, or SM-BCR2. A wired connection to the BT-DN300 internal battery is required — wireless-only setups are not supported. Connects via EW-SD50 electric wire (261mm included).
