Construction

The HB-7710 shell is forged from aluminium and finished in high-polish silver to match the Dura-Ace 7710 aesthetic. The stainless steel ball bearings run in precision-machined cup-and-cone races, allowing fine-tuning of preload by a mechanic and easy replacement of individual bearing components over the hub's lifespan.

Front axle: 9mm solid (bolt-on). Over-locknut dimension: 100mm — fits standard track fork dropouts. Spoke holes: 28. Flange diameter: 38mm. Centre-to-flange (left and right): 37mm. Compatible with standard 14g and double-butted track spokes. Note: the 36-hole version of this hub carries the NJS stamp; the 28-hole model is not NJS-stamped but is fully compatible with track racing use.
