Electronic Shifting & Synchro Shift

The ST-R9150-L connects seamlessly into Shimano's Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) wired electronic drivetrain. Shifting is handled by a tactile satellite-style button with a more defined click compared to previous generations, giving you positive confirmation of each shift even in the heat of a sprint or descent. Synchro Shift — available in Semi and Full modes — automatically co-ordinates the front derailleur with rear derailleur shifts, taking the cognitive load of double-shifting off the rider on long climbs or rapid pace changes.

E-TUBE Customisation

Via Shimano's E-TUBE Project application, every switch on the lever can be individually configured. Multi-shift can be toggled on or off per switch, hidden top-of-hood buttons can be reassigned, and firmware can be updated to unlock the latest features — including Synchro Shift modes. The lever hosts two SD50 E-tube connectivity ports and one port for an optional remote sprinter shifter, enabling flexible cockpit setups for road and triathlon-style bars.

Compatibility & Fit

The ST-R9150-L is designed for use with the Shimano Dura-Ace R9150 Di2 groupset and is compatible with standard 23.8–24.2 mm road handlebar clamp diameters. It operates as the left (front derailleur / rear brake in Australian setup) lever in a 2x11-speed Di2 drivetrain and pairs with Shimano SLR-EV rim brake callipers. Not compatible with hydraulic disc brake or mechanical (non-Di2) drivetrains. E-tube wiring and junction box sold separately.
