Note that the SW-M8250-IR does not feature an E-Tube port, so firmware updates are not available for this unit — pairing and customisation are handled entirely through the wireless app or button method.

Compatibility & Fit

The SW-M8250-IR is compatible with Shimano 12-speed mountain Di2 systems, including the Deore XT RD-M8250 rear derailleur. Mounting requires an I-SPEC EV compatible brake lever (such as Shimano's BL-M8100 series or similar XT/XTR I-SPEC EV levers). Powered by 2 × CR1632 batteries (included). Not compatible with standard clamp-mount handlebars without an I-SPEC EV host lever.
