Rear Derailleur — RD-M6250-SGS

The long-cage SGS derailleur handles the full 12-speed cassette range up to 51T. Shimano's Shadow ES spring tension keeps the chain taut and quiet, while the integrated pulley cage protects the mechanism from rock strikes. Automatic Impact Recovery means a knock on the trail doesn't mean a hike-a-bike — the derailleur self-aligns and keeps shifting accurately.

Wireless Shifting & Battery System

The BT-DN320 battery clips neatly inside the derailleur body — there are no cables to route and no external battery pack to mount. A full charge takes around 90 minutes using the EC-DN100 USB charger, giving an estimated range of several hundred kilometres between charges. The SW-M6250-R clamp-band switch attaches to standard bar ends and connects wirelessly via Bluetooth LE and ANT+, so setup is quick and the cockpit stays clean.

Personalisation via E-TUBE

Shimano's free E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist app (iOS and Android) lets you remap the shift buttons, create multi-shift sequences and set the programmable third button to a function of your choice — such as triggering a dropper post or adjusting shift mode on the fly.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for 1x12-speed drivetrains. Compatible with Shimano 12-speed cassettes from the Deore M6100/M6200, SLX M7100, Deore XT M8100/M8200 and XTR M9100/M9200 families. Works with any Shimano 12-speed HG chain (including the included SM-CN910-12 quick link). Requires a standard rear derailleur hanger or Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). The SW-M6250-R shift switch uses a clamp-band mount for standard 22.2 mm bar ends — I-SPEC EV bar integration is not included in this kit.
