The Rapidfire trigger mechanism lets you change gear with light, defined lever movements, and the main lever can drop up to two gears in a single stroke when you need to shed speed quickly. Compatibility & fit

This is the right-hand shift lever, which operates the rear derailleur. It is a 9-speed unit matched to LINKGLIDE 9-speed rear derailleurs. It mounts with a standard clamp band and uses an OPTISLICK/steel inner shift cable with Shimano's recommended OT-SP41 outer casing. Shifting is independent of your brakes, so it pairs with your existing brake levers regardless of the Australian left-rear / right-front brake convention.
